My Box Office offers members the opportunity to see a wide range of shows and events for a fantastic price - in many cases for free! The reason we can do this is many events have special performances, previews or press nights and want to ensure houses are as full as possible. When tickets become available for a show that suits you, we will contact you via email (in some cases phone and/or text), with information about it. Because tickets can become available at last minute (often on the same day!), you must act fast if you wish to book or the allocation may become sold out! It is essential that once you have booked the tickets, YOU MUST COMMIT TO ATTENDING!
Whilst we endeavour to ensure your experience is a great one, we also request that you respect other members of the audience and behave and dress appropriately at all times. Given that the tickets are usually complimentary we also kindly suggest that you support the venue and event by purchasing a drink at the bar and show programme (if applicable).

Can anyone sign up to My Box Office?
Whilst we send out exclusive invites to audiences who are interested in entertainment, any one over the ages of 18 who enjoys live shows and understands the importance of maintaining discretion whilst using our service can sign up. Our registration procedure is very simple and as soon as a suitable or relevant show becomes available, we will be in touch. Because tickets may become available at very short notice (in some cases, on the day of the event!), we recommend members are those who can regularly check their email, are happy with allocated seating and can get to the venue at short notice.
I am interested in joining My Box Office- can you tell me the cost?
There is an annual membership of £15 to become a My Box Office member. Once upgraded you will receive an automated renewal email each year, 10 days before your membership expires.
Is there any cost involved in booking tickets?
Tickets we can offer our members are either complimentary* or highly discounted. *We only charge a nominal administration fee on the ticket which covers the day to day running of our service (which varies slightly depending on the show or event). Tickets generally become available on the day/week the event is running but can in some instances be earlier. We do always kindly encourage our guests to support venues that work with My Box Office by purchasing a drink from the bar prior to the show (and a show programme if applicable). You are welcome to also spread the word about the show on social media but you must not discuss MBO or the offer itself when doing so.
How do I make payment for tickets?
For safety and security purposes, we would ask all members to make payment for tickets via our online booking system. From January 2016 we re-launched our new website and implemented 3 payment options for members, as follows: 1) Your very own My Box Office Bank. This enables you to add funds (via credit or debit card or Paypal) for quick and easy booking payments. 2) Via the safe and secure online payment service PAYPAL (found at www.paypal.co.uk) and 3) via debit or credit card. Please note for card payment your details will never be stored within My Box Office as this facility is managed by online safe and secure payment service Paypal's merchant bank.
There are no tickets left for the show I want to see?
Because MyBox Office is a last minute discreet seat filling service, for some shows and events we have a large volume of tickets to offer our members, for others we have very limited allocations. As soon as we have something to offer that you selected an interest in upon registration, we will email you (or send you an SMS Text alert if time constraints permit), but tickets are strictly offered on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. When show offers are no longer live on our site, it means they have been fully allocated although you are welcome to email us to be added to our waiting list.
Why are the venues half full when on application for tickets they are all gone?
In many cases the venues, organisers and producers we work with will give us a certain number of tickets and will often use other services as well as My Box Office. Unfortunately people do apply for tickets but don't always use them. To try and avoid this problem, it is essential that members of My Box Office only apply for tickets when you can definitely attend. If you apply for tickets but are then unable to go, you must get in touch as soon as possible (to firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can release them to our other members.
Howdo I find about the shows or events you have on offer?
When you register as a member of My Box Office, you can select your show or event preferences which ensures we only ever contact you when a show or event you have selected an interest in becomes available. We then send out E-mail and SMS Text "alerts" (if time permits) to suitable members when new or updated show offers become available. Upon registration, members can also select their contact preferences, which provide us with the best ways of getting in touch with you if there is any change to the booking (such as event cancellation or amended start time). Due to many of our offers being on the same day, all members of MBO must have an email address and we sometimes SMS text our members directly on their mobile numbers if provided (and time permits), so please ensure these are up to date.
How do I get my ticket?
Once you have been allocated tickets to the selected show or event you will be able to both read collection instructions in our website and you will also receive a confirmation email. We always request to members that you arrive around 30 minutes before show time (unless otherwise stated on your confirmation) and once at the venue box office you generally just need to quote you are on our MY BOX OFFICE GUESTLIST followed by your name in exchange for your tickets. In some scenarios you will be required to print a voucher, show photographic ID or state a specific name at the box office to collect the tickets. Please note, unless otherwise stated, we always request you do not take yourconfirmation email with you (this is to ensure discretion is maintained at all times once in the venue). Should you not receive your confirmation email and missed it on the website after booking, you can always email us (email@example.com) and we will re-send it to you.
Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can ask for?
Because the number of tickets we are offered may only be for a certain allocation, we may only be able to offer you a certain number of tickets (for instance, two tickets), dependant on demand. Once you become a regular attendee, you may beable to obtain more (subject to availability). Ticket limitation will be highlighted on the individual event booking page within our website.
Do we ever get told where the seating will be?
As our service exists to help "fill the house" for specific performances at the last minute, it is very rare you will be told of your seating allocation prior to arrival at the theatre. Seating is generally allocated by the venue or producer/event organiser and we ask you must never discuss the seating once in the venue. If you wish to book specific seats for a show we recommend purchasing standard tickets from the venue box office and not via our service.
Is there anything else required of me as a member of My Box Office?
As a member of My Box Office, we always expect our guests to be extremely discreet about the offer and to behave and dress appropriate at the venues, being respectful to venue staff and other guests at all times. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy yourself and tell your friends about the show or event! You are there as a guest of the venue and producer/promoter and our wide variety of clients always appreciate any feedback from your experiences. Most importantly, you must never discuss MBO or our offers when at an event.
Whilst we always welcome feedback, from time to time a client may also request our members fill out a form or questionnaire for their use. Should this ever occur, you will be made aware once the show or event offer has been sent out. We also encourage guests to kindly support the venue and producers by purchasing a drink and/or show programme (if applicable). Please do not bring your own food and drink when using our service and always ensure your mobile phone is turned off.
I haven't heard from you for some time
Firstly, please edit your details to ensure they are up to date. If you have entered the wrong email address for example, you will not be receiving emails from us! You cannot update your email address on our website so please ensure you closely check the spelling when registering. We get a variety of show and event offers each week so please ensure you have selected all the types that are of interest to you and we'll be in touch as soon as something suitable becomes available!
What type of identification do I need?
You won't always be asked for ID, but occasionally, venues need to check that tickets aren't being misused or to check the age of a guest to be admitted entry (as some of our clients are Over 18 venue). A driving license or passport will be fine.
What do I do if I can't go?
Please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com so that we cantransfer your tickets to another member. As long as you let us know at least 5 hours before the show or event start time, we will issue you a full refund on the administration fee. This gives us (hopefully!) enough time to release the tickets to another member. If you let us know less than the required 5 hours, we do not issue a refund.
What if my friends or other family members want to go as well?
Please ask them to sign up to My Box Office so that we can inform them of tickets when they become available and suitable to them. Please note you must be over 18 to join and you can only have one account per person.

Allocation of tickets
All ticket offer allocations we have are supplied in good faith and My Box Office cannot be held responsible for any changes or cancellation in show times. Our ticket offers are very last minute, often on the same day as the performance and should you be successful in booking you will be guided back to a confirmation page with collection instructions and will also receive a confirmation email with collection instructions (usually in the form of being added to our guestlist which is provided to the venue prior to show time). You are never physically sent tickets for any of our show offers.
Ticket offers we have are supplied on a first come, first served basis. Whilst all efforts are made to ensure tickets are allocated to capacity, in the event that there is overbooking, for whatever reason, any alternative ticket allocation is entirely at the discretion of My Box Office or the venue/company manager. No guaranteed compensation is offered. Ticket offers are supplied for use of MyBox Office registered member and guest/s only and it is the duty of the member to ensure the guest/s is aware of our discretionary procedure at all times when using our service. Tickets are non transferable and Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
If you cannot use tickets allocated, please let us know as soon as possible by notifying firstname.lastname@example.org . You must inform us at least 5 hours before the event begins to obtain a refund and it is unacceptable to not inform us, which would result in immediately cancelling of your membership with no refund.
All bookings are also subject to the venues own terms and conditions of entry. MyBox Office reserves the right to refuse tickets to a member and the right to withdraw access at any time and without giving reason. My Box Office in conjunction with its partners, will use its best endeavours to ensure that the performance will take place in accordance with its advertised programme. However, it reserves the right to cancel a performance, substitute an alternative or vary the time of an exhibition if forced to do so by circumstances beyond its control.
If a performance is cancelled or its timing changed substantially, My Box Office liability will be restricted, at its discretion, to offer an alternative as subject to availability. If not alternative date is available, a full refund will be made.
Proof of age may be required in certain instances so please ensure your full party take suitable photographic Age Identification with them.
Unless otherwise stated, sound and video recording equipment, cameras and mobile telephones are not permitted in the auditorium and must not be used at any time. You must not bring any previously purchased food or drink to the venue whilst using our service.
Unless otherwise stated in show email alerts and/or confirmation emails, tickets must be collected at least 30 minutes before show time and will be available at the venue Box Office. If you are running late you must inform us and if you will not make the event start time, you will not be admitted entry and no refund will be made.
Seating is always at the discretion of the venue box office so it is absolutely imperative no discussion of seat allocation is made once tickets have been given.
Once a performance has begun My Box Office members must not leave before the event has finished.
My Box Office reserves the right to terminate membership and deny access to the Web Site to any person who violates these Terms. No membership refund will be made to members who violate these Terms.
To maintain discretion of our exclusive offers, at all times it is imperative that no mention of My Box Office is raised at the venue (other than when collecting tickets at the venue box office). We also request you must never discuss our offers online, on social networks or Internet forums. You are of course welcome to discuss and promote the show or event and we encourage feedback from all guests that we can pass on to producers, promoters and venues. My Box Office reserves the right to terminate membership and deny access to the Web Site to any person who violates these Terms.

Payment Methods For Shows Or Events
Events or shows that are offered via the Web Site may require payment/s. Payment is always made within the MyBoxOffice.Biz website and there are three payment options available to members. MBO Bank; Paypal and credit or debit card. For all payments within the MyBoxOffice.Biz website, members card details will never be stored within our site and this facility is managed by our safe and secure third party partner Paypal (www.paypal.co.uk)
Once you have upgraded your account to a premium user you have a seven (7) day money back option. If you would like a refund, please email us within 7 days to email@example.com. If you wish to cancel your account in future, any MBO Bank Funds up to and including £5 are non refundable. Any MBO funds above £5 (not including free credit) are refundable but you you must contact us before you delete your account at firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be fully refunded.
